What is it about?
A community project for people who live, work or love Slough to individually walk one million steps in 6 months to create a walking habit for life. We aim to highlight the importance of tracking your daily step count and prioritising regular exercise to reduce the diagnosis of common health conditions in the area like type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
How to join?
STEP UP
- Download the Step Up app (Counter from Appstore or GooglePlay)
- Sign in -Enable step tracking
- Allow StepUp to access your physical activity

- Connect to your ‘Google FIT’
- Set your daily step goal
- Sign in to connect with friends
- Continue with google
QR CODE
- You will need the link from One Million Steps challenge group
- Scan the QR code and paste that link on Step Up
