The Job and Career Hub
#DRIVE is our Employability and Skill Development Programme. We aim to find meaningful work for people who want to return to the workforce. The Programme has a range of participants from refugees and other people new to the country, parents who have taken a career break, to professionals who have unexpectedly been made redundant. We have a pool of volunteer mentors who generously donate their time to help people in need of guidance.
Our Projects
Job Aid for New Residents
We provide personalised employment support to people new to the UK. You may have recently arrived from Ukraine or Afghanistan to rebuild your life here, or a migrant from another country on a Skilled Worker or Family Visa. The service is free of charge.
Employability Programme
The employability programme has been set up to support local residents back into employment. It is a tailored approach that supports participants on their individual journeys back into employment, education, or volunteering.
Free English Workshops
Our immersive English workshops have been designed to support residents to improve their confidence in speaking in English.
