Our Work Experience opportunities help local residents gain practical experience in a workplace and develop a better understanding of the world of work.
Our Mock Interview Sessions are part of Viva Slough’s Employability Programme, giving local residents the opportunity to practise their interview skills in a supportive and realistic environment.
The sessions are designed to help you understand what to expect in an interview, practise answering questions and receive useful feedback from employers and professionals.
You will take part in a one-to-one interview with an employer or professional. The sessions gives you the chance to:
Our mock interviews are supported by employers and professionals from different organisations and sectors. This gives you the opportunity to experience an interview from an employer’s perspective and understand what they may be looking for.
The aim is not to get every answer perfect. It is about practising, learning and becoming more comfortable with the interview process.
Whether you have not had an interview for a long time, are new to the UK job market, or simply want to feel more prepared, our mock interviews can help you approach your next interview with greater confidence.
