Our Work Experience opportunities help local residents gain practical experience in a workplace and develop a better understanding of the world of work.
Talent Connect is part of Viva Slough’s Employability Programme, connecting local jobseekers directly with employers who have live vacancies and are actively looking to recruit.
Whether you are you looking for an entry level role to advanced come along to discover current open roles and gain career insights.
Talent Connect is designed around real recruitment opportunities. Employers attend because they have vacancies and want to meet potential candidates. Instead of simply handing out CVs, you have the opportunity to speak directly with the people involved in recruitment, understand the roles available and discuss whether an opportunity could be right for you.
Where there is a good match, the conversation can lead to the next stage of the recruitment process, such as an application, interview or further conversation with the employer.
Our wider Employability Programme can help you prepare for Talent Connect through support such as conversational English, employability skills sessions, CV and LinkedIn support, industry-specific sessions and mock interviews.
This helps you feel more confident introducing yourself, talking about your experience and making the most of conversations with employers.
